How FER uses and shares information
FER uses information to provide the service requested, operate membership access, process and verify payments, send transactional messages, moderate reviews, evaluate recommendations, review applications, prevent abuse, and maintain appropriate records and service metrics. FER does not sell personal information. FER may share only what is necessary with service providers acting for FER, PayPal for payments, Google Workspace for FER-controlled operational spreadsheets, email-delivery providers, a selected volunteer attorney after the member’s consent and staff review, or authorities when legally required or needed to protect safety and rights.
Appointment text messages and mobile information
Appointment texts are optional. When booking, a member must make an unselected Yes or No choice. Choosing No does not prevent a purchase or appointment and keeps appointment information in the member account and email. If the member chooses Yes, FER records the phone number, choice, consent wording and version, date and time, appointment identifier, message delivery status, and any STOP, START, or HELP request.
FER uses this information only to provide the requested transactional appointment messages, manage consent and opt-outs, prevent duplicate messages, support the appointment, and keep compliance and security records. FER does not send marketing through this program. FER does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, mobile opt-in information, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. RingCentral, participating carriers, and other delivery vendors may process the minimum phone and message data necessary to operate the program on FER’s behalf; they are not authorized to use FER’s text consent for their own marketing.
A member may reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help. After STOP, FER will not send additional texts unless the member later sends START or provides a new valid opt-in as permitted. Message and data rates may apply. See the SMS Terms and Conditions.
Payments and third-party content
PayPal processes payment information under its own privacy statement. Optional Google Calendar and YouTube views are supplied by Google and may receive browser, device, cookie, or account information under Google’s policy. FER provides a first-party public schedule so visitors do not have to load the Google calendar frame. PayPal Privacy Statement. Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies, security, and retention
WordPress uses necessary cookies for sign-in, account security, and administrator functions. FER uses security logs, one-way network-address hashes, nonces, and rate limits to protect forms and payments. FER retains records only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, dispute handling, accounting, tax, legal, and nonprofit recordkeeping purposes. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may decline optional forms or appointment texts, unsubscribe from newsletters, and ask FER to review, correct, or delete information when FER is not required to retain it. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. Contact FER to make a request. Do not use a public or intake form to send Social Security numbers, passwords, bank information, full medical records, or unredacted identity documents.
Children and policy changes
This website and its accounts are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. FER may update this policy when the website, service providers, or legal requirements change and will post the revised date here.
